My name is Jason Robicheau and I’m the owner and lead budtender at The Grateful Mind. I’m a proud Wellfleetion (born and raised) who is happy to be your guide to the best cannabis on the Cape. My shop only employs Wellfleet residents, and we’re all excited to help you get high Wellfleet-Style. We are your one stop shop for everything cannabis. If we don’t stock it, it’s probably not worth buying. I’ve been a cannabis fanatic since the early ‘90’s. Back then, we only had access to herb (i.e. cannabis, weed, pot, etc.) that was pressed into bricks and full of seeds. It was nothing special. Then, as the 1990’s went on we started to see really incredible cannabis come out of Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and Northern California (and thankfully New Hampshire, Vermont & Maine). It was the golden age of premium (illegal) cannabis. It smelled fantastic, looked fantastic, and oh boy did it do the trick! It was amazing! Unfortunately, it cost 4X as much as what we were used to, but the bar had been set!
Over the decades I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying multiple International Cannabis Cup winners, regional favorites from around the country and land strains from around the globe. Bottom line is, I love and I really know good cannabis. My entire business model is based upon me hand selecting and stocking only the best cannabis I can find in the state. I’ve travelled from one end of the state to the other and toured countless grows. I’m on a neverending quest for the best cannabis products available. I will only stock cannabis products that I’ve personally tested and approved. If it doesn’t smell good, taste good and get me high, I won’t stock or sell it to you.
The Grateful Mind is focused on quality over quantity. If you want a shop with 10 pages of pre-rolls and 40 different gummies, I’m not your shop. If you want hand selected, carefully curated, top shelf cannabis, extracts and edibles that I personally endorse, we’re the only shop you’ll ever need or want to visit. I shop all the deals and pass every penny of savings on to you. I’m the store’s lead budtender and as much as physically possible, I hope to be your personal budtender.
